Pretty much all of my food is or can be made gluten free, as it is my specialty to cook this way. But I wanted to give a whole section to the g/f folks because they definitely deserve one, and this way of eating is not only for folks with celiac disease, but also for anyone who chooses to try it. This diet usesĀ gluten free grains such as quinoa and brown rice, which are more primitive and less tormented by modern processing than grains that contain gluten.
A gluten free day:
Breakfast: Warm quinoa cereal with dried fruit, nuts and sesame seeds served with yogurt or your choice of milk (almond, soy, rice, moo).
Lunch: Tuna casserole with garden veggies and basil tomato soup.
Dinner: Sweet and sour veggies, brown rice and cod (or tofu) with fresh pineapple salsa.
Snack: Fresh baked gluten free muffin with banana and chocolate or fruit and nut date balls.
I am so glad I discovered your restaurant. I recently learned I have Celiac Disease and Lupus. My diet has changed drastically as a result. I plan to visit often!!
